"1.  The Living God

“My soul thirsteth for God, for the Living God: when shall I come and appear before God?”

(Psalm 42v2)

“Why art thou cast down, O my soul?…hope thou in God.”

(Psalm 42v5)

“O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.”

(Psalm 43v3)

2.  The Creator God

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

(Genesis 1v1)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.”

(John 1v1-3)

“For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him. And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”

(Colossians 1v16-17)

3.  The Saviour God

“For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.”

“…and there is no God else beside Me; a just God and a saviour; there is none beside Me.”
